Welcome, my name is Rajni Lerman. After more than a decade working with youth and teens in the non-profit sector, my life took a drastic change in the mid 90’s. After two years of being a single parent, I moved from a very set and comfortable life in Boulder, Co. to join my sister in Crestone, Co to pursue some mutual endeavors. Unfortunately those plans were quickly thwarted when she was murdered within the first week of me moving there. After the tragedy of my sisters sudden death, I went back to my parents home in central NY in hopes of being of service to them during this unsettling time. However, after a few months it was evident that our different grieving styles were hindering rather than supporting one another. These major events forced me to review my life; where I’d been, where I was going and to contemplate my life purpose. Though I really enjoyed my previous career working with youth, being a single parent of a small child and dealing with the grief and loss of my sister did not leave a lot of extra energy for this type of work. So I headed back to Colorado and decided to get a temporary job doing something simple that did not require a lot of extra energy. I was given the assignment to work at a small residential and commercial construction company. After only a few weeks, the owner, Scott Dale was so pleased and amazed at how efficiently and quickly I accomplished the tasks he gave me, that he offered me a full time position as an office manager. To me it seemed like nothing but doing the basics, but to him it was astonishing. It was at this time that I realized that doing organizational tasks was something that I was naturally good at. Despite the fact that I had always dreamt that I could do something extraordinary, creative and would help the world, I realized after reading Deepak Chopra’s book “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success” that organizing was my special gift to the world and I must use it as such. After four years of working for Scott as his Office Manager, I decided to go out on my own and formed my own business called, Gaia Business Services. My mission was to assist all types of individuals and businesses to help them manifest their visions through grounded and consistent support.
Over time I realized that in order to maintain peace, calm and organization in ones outer life, one must cultivate these things within. This can be accomplished through many tools, one of which is by a regular practice of Kundalini Yoga.
Since childhood I felt a connection with something greater than myself as a result of spending a lot of time in nature. I was fortunate to grow up in an area that had woods in our backyard. When life seemed very loud and chaotic in my household, I retreated to the woods where I felt safe and held. This early experience, along with endless opportunities to explore new things encouraged me to develop that connection. I explored many traditions including Nichiran Shosho Buddhism, Native American Sweat Lodges, Shamanic Journeying, NIA, a Priestess training, called ‘Path of Ceremonial Arts’, ceremonial dance and then finally began practicing yoga in 2005. I began attending a weekly Anasura Flow class in Boulder, Co. that a friend was teaching. For many years, I resisted trying yoga as I felt that I would not get much out of it. I was surprised how wonderful I felt after each class, so begun my new journey. In 2008, I accidentally stumbled upon Kundalini Yoga. This practice felt like coming home and brought together everything I wanted in a practice. My life as a struggling single-parent began to transform into a life of joy and ease. Two years later in order to deepen this experience, I embarked on KRI’s (Kundalini Research Institute) Level 1 Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa. After gaining my certification, I began teaching Kundaini Yoga in Colorado where i was living at the time.
This practice along with healthy eating, exercise and natural medicines such as essential oils will assist you on the path toward wholeness.
That is why I offer all of my services under one name, Gaia Services.
The definition of Gaia is “The earth viewed as a vast self-regulating organism.” Just as our earth “Gaia” is a self-regulating organism, thus are we as individuals. Please view each of my pages to learn more about my offerings and let me know if there is any way I can be of service to you.
With all my Blessings,
